The Independence War Deluxe Edition requires this minimum machine specification:

DirectX6 compatible video card (256 color mode required for Software mode).
DirectX6 compatible sound card
Approximately 80Mb free hard disk space

We recommend (especially for 3Dfx mode):

DirectX6 must be installed. For the 3Dfx version Glide version 2.43 (Voodoo) or 2.54 (Voodoo2), 2.6 (Voodoo Banshee & Voodoo3)

Please disable all windows screensavers or power saving features before playing the game..

Uninstall

To uninstall the game use the Windows Add/Remove control panel, or click on the uninstall icon in the START menu.

Note: The uninstallation process may leave 7.5 MB of files on your hard drive. These files may be safely deleted, however if you intend to re-install Independence War: Defiance at a later date, be sure to back up your *.SAV files (Saved Game Files) as a fresh install will overwrite them.
